Craig Shoemaker is sometimes also known as "The Lovemaster" a signature character he does in his stand-up act from time to time. Check out a clip of it above. It was also the title of his first CD and DVD, "The Lovemaster... Unzipped."
He started doing comedy in his home town of Philadelphia and now tours the country. He hit the national scene with Comedy Central specials and accolades such as being named the "Comedian of the Year" by the American Comedy Awards on ABC.
In addition to performing comedy, Craig has written two childrens' books, What You Have Now...What Your Daddy Had Then and What You Have Now...What Your Mommy Had Then. He also wrote and produced a movie called Totally Baked, a movie inspired by his son asking him if he had ever smoked Marijuana. High Times nominated the film for a "Stony Award" in 2008.
Also, in 2004 Craig opened a comedy compound and retail outlet, called The Laughter Store. It was inspired by his nonprofit organization LaughterHeals.org, a group that works to bring comedy to those battling cancer who are too sick leave their hospitals or recovery facilities.
